5 Ways to get more Engagement on your Facebook Stories

Facebook stories have been on the rise in the last couple of years with over 150 million active users. And you can bet this number is only going to grow even bigger over time.

According to Wikipedia Facebook stories was created on March 28, 2017.

So what exactly is Facebook stories they are short user generated photo(s) or short videos that can be viewed and disappear after 24 hours period.

Having a short time period can cause a sense of urgency to take a look at your stories which is great for promoting your product or service

What I love about Facebook stories is unlike your news feed posts, Facebook Stories appear right at the top of the Facebook app.

So when your audience first opens up their profile, your Facebook stories will be the first thing they see which grabs their attention immediately.

So now that you know more about Facebook stories lets get into my 5 ways to get more engagement on your Facebook Stories

#1 Add a call-to-action I rarely see this on Facebook stories but its been around forever just adding a simple call to action has always increase engagements no matter what industry you in.

Or create a Facebook story poll just ask simple questions people love to enact with questions on social media sites.

#2 Hire a Graphic Designer to create your stories. If you are like me Im no graphic designer when it comes to create stories. But I know how to hire one just go to fiverr.com and type in Facebook stories. You should be able to find an inexpensive person to create one for a few bucks.

#3 Set Facebook Story to Public Make sure to have your Facebook story setting set to public so everyone can view your stories

#4 Create your own Facebook stories

Note: After your story has shown I noticed the link doesn’t work so keep that in mind after the 24 hour period it probably want work.

Pro Tip: When creating Facebook Stories on your Facebook Page check your insights tab for analytics to see which stories are preforming the best. Then just start creating more of what your audience likes.

Insights are only available for stories that where added in the last 28 days

Make sure to add all the customize columns to get the most data

You can find this when you go to your Facebook Page click on insights then click on stories on the left hand side scroll to the bottom of the page
